The Respected Central Florida Home Builder and Developer Introduces a New Brand for its Commercial Real Estate Division with Several New Developments Underway and More Projects in the Pipeline

Orlando, FL, May 9, 2023 – Park Square Homes, one of Florida’s largest and most respected privately-owned residential and resort development companies, announces the rebrand and expansion of its commercial real estate division, now named/formalized as Kimaya (Kim-my-uh). Kimaya offers ground-up development solutions, providing quality, expert market knowledge, and long-term value for partners and investors. Kimaya’s diverse development portfolio includes multifamily, build-to-rent, senior residences, hotel, retail, office and beyond. Currently, Kimaya’s portfolio of projects total an investment of over $700 million in development costs.

Kimaya, formerly Park Square Commercial, was founded in 2015 as a subsidiary of Park Square Enterprises, LLC, the Orlando-based real estate development company founded in 1984 by Braham Aggarwal and his son-in-law, Suresh Gupta. Today, the commercial and residential divisions are led by Vishaal Gupta, son of Suresh Gupta, bringing three generations of superb family leadership and values to both entities.

“Park Square Homes has long had a reputation for excellence in home building,” said Vishaal Gupta, CEO of Kimaya. “It’s only natural that Kimaya can offer a bridge between residential and commercial development. In the past, when Park Square Homes obtained land zoned for commercial use, we would sell it. Now we will have the opportunity to develop those areas for mixed-use, which greatly benefits the communities in which we build.”

The company has recently entered the residential build-to-rent space with three townhome communities with over 480 units underway, and several new projects in the pipeline. Champions Chase, offering 64 townhomes, is available for pre-lease within Polk County’s ChampionsGate community. Valencia Isle, near UCF, follows with 60 townhomes with leasing beginning later this year, and Ocoee Village, located in booming West Orange County, is scheduled for completion in late 2024 with 232 townhomes.

“Expanding into the build-to-rent space allows us to capitalize on our home building expertise, harnessing the Park Square Home formula for success and utilizing that model in a new way that serves our community by providing a solution to one of our most pressing challenges, the housing shortage,” said Gupta. “The need for diversification within Park Square Homes ultimately led to the creation of Kimaya, and we envision continued growth outside of the Orlando area into other Florida communities, and possibly even beyond the state.”
